About one-fifth of all air freight globally is made up of cold goods. Additionally, a sizable portion of it is exported. Exporting products to foreign markets, particularly those in Asia, is more common and far more profitable than doing so to US domestic markets.
The Eurofreight International Group, with its headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, is one of the biggest global freight firms. According to IBISWorld, Eurofreight controlled 31% of the global market for goods forwarding in 2017. But it wasn't made accessible in the US until 2008—quite recently. By growing its global network of airport agents—the network carriers whose agents occupy the area utilised by goods forwarders for the agents' products—Eurofreight supposedly hopes to acquire momentum in the US.
